So you got a new DSLR for Christmas! Hooray! Or maybe you’ve had one for a while, but you’re not totally sure how to use it. Are you ready to learn?
Announcing Bethany Mills Photography’s “Momtography 101″ class, a basic photography class for beginners.
Do either of these situations sound familiar?
Common situation #1
It’s a bright sunny day at the park and you decide to take some photos of your children. You find the brightest spot you can, pose them, and quickly try to take a photo before they move. You get home and confidently upload the photo you your computer and notice that their faces are so bright in spots you lose details, or there are really dark shadows around their eyes.
Common situation #2
Your adorable baby just learned to crawl and is constantly on the move.! You want to get some photos of her crawling to send to grandma, but all of your photos are either dark or blurry. Or maybe they are not dark, but it bothers you how grainy they look.
Both issues above can be fixed or minimized by knowing how to use your camera to it’s full potential. Your camera is an amazing tool, but you have to know how to use it.
In this 4 hour workshop, we’ll focus on getting you comfortable using your camera to capture those special moments in your home in between your professional photo sessions. We’ll cover the basics like making the best of available light, camera settings, and so much more! I’ll be here to answer your questions, practice with you, and help you learn. And then after the class, you’ll get access to an exclusive Facebook group where you can post your photos and ask me any questions! Are you as excited as I am??
Not a mom? That’s ok, too! Any beginner is welcome.
“Is this workshop for me?”
Do you own a DSLR but are a little too intimidated to go beyond the “auto” mode? Are you unhappy with the results you’ve been getting with your photos and what to learn how to improve them? Or maybe you have a DSLR but you’re too scared to even attempt taking it out of the box? Do you want to learn how to take better photos? This workshop is for you.
“I have no photography experience at all”
That’s ok! You do not need to have any experience at all! Even if you know a little, I’ll be here to help with whatever you’re struggling with!
“What if I still have questions after the workshop, can I contact you?”
Yes! This is why you’ll be given access to an exclusive Facebook group. At the workshop, I’ll also be giving you a workbook you can follow along with and keep for later reference.
“I’m a professional photographer or I plan on being one in the next year. Can I participate?”
Sorry! This class is for hobbyists and enthusiasts only!
